Create custom digital assets for cash, bank accounts, or gold holdings. Enter weight and carat (e.g., 24K, 22K, 18K) to automatically get gold content equivalence.
Choose Method & Track Haul
Select your preferred zakat calculation method. Fahl automatically monitors the age of your assets (haul) and compares your holdings daily against historical gold rates.
Fulfill & Record Zakat Directly
Once an asset meets the threshold, its status changes to "Need Payment". Pay directly to certified organizations and record it in the app to mark the period as "Complete".

Why doesn't Fahl accept zakat payments directly in the app?
To maintain absolute focus on building the most accurate, secure calculations and to avoid the strict financial audit and licensing complexities of managing public funds, Fahl does not process payments. We guide you to pay directly to trusted official organizations or mustahiq of your choice.
What is the difference between the Continuity and Discontinuity methods?
The Continuity method keeps the haul period running even if your assets temporarily dip below the nisab threshold during the year, provided they recover by the end. The Discontinuity method resets the haul clock back to zero the moment your wealth drops below the nisab.
How does the gold carat conversion work?
Zakat nisab is based on 85g of 24K pure gold. If you have gold with lower carats (like 18K or 16K jewelry), Fahl automatically normalizes the weight to its pure gold equivalent, ensuring you pay exactly what is required—no more, no less.
Can I use Fahl just for daily budgeting and expense tracking?
Absolutely. Fahl includes a full-featured "Budgets" system where you can set limits for categories or specific assets over custom or recurring timeframes (weekly, monthly, yearly), helping you monitor your spending in real-time.
