Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the Fahl application, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, you must immediately cease all use of the application and uninstall it from your device.

2. Description of Service

Fahl is a No-Fund Custody financial recording and zakat maal calculation assistant. We provide features for asset tracking, multi-method cycle generation (Continuity and Discontinuity methods), jewelry carat conversions, and custom budgeting. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any feature or service at any time without prior notice.

3.User Account & Data Security

As a No-Fund Custody application, Fahl does not hold, store, or manage your physical money or gold. For your convenience, Fahl provides secure cloud backups of your recording database on our servers to assist with database recovery, while your primary credentials and records remain stored on your device. You represent that all asset entries and information inputted are accurate, and you agree not to transfer, rent, or sell access to your Fahl installation.

4. Prohibited Activities

You agree not to engage in any of the following prohibited behaviors:

• Using the application for any illegal, unauthorized, or fraudulent activities.
• Attempting to reverse engineer, decompile, or extract the source code of the application.
• Introducing viruses, trojans, worms, or other malicious software.
• Interfering with, disrupting, or compromising the servers or networks connected to the service.
• Deploying unauthorized bots, scrapers, or automation tools to interact with our API.

5. Intellectual Property Rights

All logos, brand names, visual designs, assets, source code, templates, and text content contained within Fahl are the exclusive property of Fahl App and its parent company. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or modify any portion of our intellectual property without prior written consent.

6. Privacy Policy

Your privacy is paramount to us. The collection, storage, and processing of any user data are governed strictly by our Privacy Policy. Since Fahl operates on a No-Fund Custody model, you retain full ownership and control of your actual assets, and we prioritize secure local recording.

7. User-Generated Content

You retain complete ownership of all financial logs, asset values, and budgets you enter into the application. You grant Fahl the technical permission to store, process, and display this content locally on your device or back it up as explicitly directed by you.

8.Service Availability & Uptime

We strive to maintain service availability but do not guarantee 100% uptime. Services may be suspended temporarily for routine maintenance, server upgrades, or unexpected technical emergencies.

9. Account Suspension or Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the application or premium services at our sole discretion if we discover violations of these Terms of Service or any suspicious activities.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

Fahl is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. We do not warrant that the application will be bug-free, error-free, uninterrupted, or that the calculations will yield specific financial outcomes. Use of the app is at your own discretion and risk.

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms of Service at any time. If changes are material, we will provide an in-app notification or notice on the website. Continued use of the app after modifications constitute agreement to the revised terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of our operating jurisdiction, without regard to conflict of law principles.
